English Writing for Legal Advice (EWLA)

Overview and objectives of the course
This course is designed for the development of writing skills for specific purposes. Throughout the sessions and at each stage of the program, learners will acquire the linguistic skills, identify the rhetoric devices, and apply the methodology in writing legal advice predominantly in Commercial Law and Property Law. In addition, the course involves work in reading skills as learners will be given a variety of authentic legal codes and legal text types and situations to provide stimuli for tasks.
