SINOPSE:

METAMÓRṖHOSIS é um documentário instigante que explora a transformação das comunidades rurais através das mudanças sociais e ambientais. O filme acompanha as histórias de três aldeãs cujas vidas reflectem as mutações sociais mais vastas da modernidade.

No decurso da história é dado a conhecer um homem que nunca abandonou a terra onde nasceu. Vendo as aldeias condenadas ao despovoamento, lutou com visão e tenacidade pela emancipação coletiva das aldeias através da recuperação das tradições culturais que se desvaneciam.

Com foco na desconstrução das normas sociais convencionais, METAMÓRṖHOSIS destaca como as identidades pessoais e coletivas evoluem no meio de realidades mutáveis; oferece uma análise convincente da vida rural, da memória e das tensões entre tradição e modernidade.

SYNOPSE:

METAMÓRṖHOSIS is a thought-provoking documentary exploring the transformation of rural communities through social and environmental change. The film follows the stories of three women villagers whose lives reflect the broader social mutations of modernity.

 Along the story, we meet a man who has never abandoned the land where he was born. Seeing the villages condemned to depopulation, he fought with vision and tenacity for the collective emancipation of the villages through the recovery of fading cultural traditions.

 With a focus on the deconstruction of conventional societal norms, METAMÓRṖHOSIS highlights how personal and collective identities evolve amidst shifting realities. It offers a compelling examination of rural life, memory, and the tensions between tradition and modernity.
