Dr. Annie Sidro founded Carnaval Sans Frontières in 1980. A member of the oldest carnival family in Nice,
France, she has served as an international consultant to carnivals and urban parades in Europe, Nice, Viareggio, Bradford, Aalborg, USA, Canada, Brazil, Africa, Polynesia, Australia, and Asia (Singapore).
Through workshops in parade animation and the development of carnival skills, she utilizes international sculptors and carnival artists to create carnival-style parades and all the individual elements of a parade, such as artistic concept, floats, giant puppets, “big heads,” and costumes.
She also has worldwide resources of performing groups.
