In this session we can begin by looking at some proposed definitions of religion. This will allow us to examine whether they are adequate for our perception or experience of religion today. Questions for discussion related to our particular time and place may include: Is Confucianism a religion? Can there be religion for atheists? What is the relationship between religion and science?
