2014 Borderless Arts Contemporary Art Exhibition will open on 3rd December. Cultural Affairs Bureau supports this event and Fundação Rui Cunha (Rui Cunha Foundation) sponsors the venue.
Since it was founded, Borderless Arts has held a Borderless Arts Membership Exhibition every year. Since 2013, however, the theme changed to Contemporary Art Exhibition, so as to encourage artists to create original, contemporary art pieces.
This year’s exhibition presents works from 15 artists – mainly paintings but also video and mixed media pieces. Artists were not given a specific exhibition topic to create their works, as the intention was to allow them to show there own interpretation of what is “Contemporary”.
