With the establishment of the Macau Vocal Association’s Kids group and Teenage group last year, conducted by Ieong Sin Hang, the choir groups are prepared to present a variety of songs in different musical styles, injecting new momentum into the revival of choral music in Macau.
Since the 2021 academic year, the Macau Vocal Association has partnered with Colégio Diocesano de São José 6, with Mars Lei training the school choir. This year, after months of dedicated practice, a group of new students will perform a variety of songs spanning various styles, including Italian pieces, classical adaptations, and many others.
Founded in February 2025 by Dr. Wang Xiao of the Macau International Association of Music Art, the WX.Free Choir is a senior ensemble composed of gratitude, passion, and dreams. Through their singing, they reflect the wisdom of the years, and share a message of youth, goodness, and beauty with the world.
There will be 4 groups performing this time:
- Macau Vocal Association Choir (Kids Group)
- Macau Vocal Association Choir (Teenage Group)
- Colégio Diocesano de São José 6 Choir
- WX. Free Choir
