POSTER“Lines • Sensation”
By Ung Vai Meng

This exhibition features 23 pieces of artwork centered around sketches, including landscape sketches, live theater sketch records, and three large-scale human figure works.

Visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to experience the captivating scenery of China, Macau, Portugal, and Italy. They can also catch a glimpse of the fleeting figures of dancers in the dark theater.

To enrich the content of the exhibition, the artist has created three pieces at the beginning of the year with the human body as the thematic imagery. Through the use of mottled water stains, he has attempted to pursue the artistic conception of Eastern art and combine it with the Western sketch’s grasp of form and texture, creating a minimalist imagery that embodies musical rhythm, hovering between abstraction and figuration.
