HIGH HOPER

High Hoper is a local community-based art project that aims to initiate a dialogue with our dreams in Macau through the means of surreal images produced by artistic techniques.

This is a year-round project and its inspiration comes from bus 25, a bus route that connects us from north to south Macau on a daily basis, from which you might see a vibrant spectrum of local population consisting of manual labourer, regular 9-5ers, immigrant workers, students and pupils, Macanese, Portuguese and Chinese.

From the results of our street questionnaires and online surveys commenced in February, we’ve chosen ten dreamers that are most inspiring and representative in the city. After in-depth interview with the dreamers, we are now at the stage to visualize their dreams with fashion designs, dramatic make-up, hairdressing and post-production.

Point View Art Association

Point View Art Association is a non-profit art and cultural association, formed in Macao in 2008. The members are from different nations and professions who based in Macao, such as theatre director, visual artist, composer, set designer, costume designer, actor and dancers. They attempt to create more possibilities for theatre art and expand new visions for audiences. Their mandate is to produce art and cultural creations, as well as to conduct education, exchange, research and collaboration with artists from HK, Mainland China, Europe and more overseas countries.
