Julia Lam Tsz Kwan is a Macao artist and curator who graduated from the Academy of Arts & Design of the Tsinghua University in Beijing. Lam was introduced to watercolors by Macao painter Lai Ieng at her young age. She later developed a vibrant watercolor style, creating artworks focused on Macao’s festivals and Macanese cuisine.

林子筠，澳門藝術家兼策展人，畢業於北京清華大學美術學院。

In recent years, Lam has put her focus on urban and cultural development. Drawing from her personal experiences, she highlights historically significant yet often overlooked buildings in Macao.

早年師承澳門著名畫家黎鷹老師的水彩啟蒙，後來以明快鮮亮的水彩風格創作澳門節慶及土生葡菜系列。

By condensing the essential structures and proportions of these buildings into colour lines and blocks, Lam created the “Superflat Series” which compress her recollections and emotions about urban architecture amidst the city’ changing architectural and cultural landscape.

近年，林氏關注城市和文化發展，結合自身的成長經驗把具有澳門歷史文化而又被世人忽略的建築物，理性地將該建築重要的結構和比例提練成色線和方塊作為創作的載體，藉此對城市建築的追憶和情感壓縮為「超扁平」系列，回應現今澳門城市建築文化景觀的變遷。
