Nam Van Sound Waves . Bel Canto, Vocal recital – 2021.07.10
The Rui Cunha Foundation presents on Saturday, July 10 at 5:00 pm, a special session of “Bel Canto, Piano & Winds”, as part of the series of musical concerts “Nam Van Sound Waves”, which will again feature the participation of students from the Macau Baptist Cham Son High School.
The Macau Vocal Association, co-organizer of the event, selected for this musical soiree a diverse proposal of themes, either vocal or instrumental, for piano and woodwinds. Similar to the last edition, which focused on stringed instruments, the Macau Baptist Cham Son School will present musical pieces for trombone, clarinet, flute, oboe, french horn and bassoon, as well as voice and piano.
The students will perform Chinese popular songs and classics, as well as themes by composers such as French Charles Gounod, Irish Charles Villiers Stanford, Briton Gerald Finzi and North-American Denes Agay.
Admission is free, but subject to capacity limitation, in accordance with health recommendations implemented by local authorities.
