The Orient in Western Opera at Rui Cunha Foundation on the 30th, November, at 6:30pm, presents “The First Emperor” by Tan Dun

Qin Shi Huangdi is the first Emperor of China mostly known by the Great Wall of China and his tomb guarded by terracotta soldiers. Tan Dun wrote in music the history of his enthronement using Western opera layout with Eastern influence, a mixture of folk and classical, ancient and modern language. Such an amazing opera about love, hate and betrayal will be presented by Shee Va and Frederico Rato, integrated in the cycle ” The Orient in Western Opera” at Rui Cunha Foundation on the 30th, November, at 6:30pm.
