The European Union Facing its Future: the Role of Europe in a Future Multipolar World
Monday, October 23 at 6:30 pm, the conference “The European Union Facing its Future: the Role of Europe in a Future Multipolar World” of the cycle Reflections at Sunset, will be held at Rui Cunha Foundation.
Professor Ramón Tamames, Chair Professor of Economic Structure at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, former visiting professor of European Integration at IEEM, distinguished scholar and author of many books and articles, political analyst and commentator in Spanish media, and economic thinker at large, will address his former students and the public in general at the Rui Cunha Foundation, on the topic of “The European Union Facing its Future: the Role of Europe in a Future Multipolar World”.
Professor Tamamés will be addressing several topics including: The great recession in the EU and tackling the economic crisis ;;the Euro; the Juncker investment plan and Macron proposals for the EU; issues of inequality and homogeneity; the Brexit and other current political issues, as well as Europe and China in a multipolar environment.
Professor Tamames, will be visiting Macau invited by IEEM in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Master in European Studies Program, jointly organized by IEEM and UMAC.
