2013 is the year that marks the bicentenary of the birth of two compelling composers of the music world and particularly opera – Wagner and Verdi .

In Macau, little is said or told of such an important event. Tentatively , the International Music Festival of Macau brought “Das Rheingold” and Wagner’s “Aida” and “Requiem” by Verdi .

The Rui Cunha Foundation aims to celebrate these two authors and invited two opera lovers – Shee Va and Frederico Rato – to speak in music, fantastic world and the legacy of these two composers, in a conversation introduced by the following question:

“Two Vs are worth more than a V ?”

By projecting videos illustrating the exposure of each of the players, they try to explain the reasons that may lead to prefer one or the other of the two celebrated composers.
