Viagem por Macau
The Rui Cunha Foundation and the CRED-MD – Center for Reflection, Study, Dissemination and the Law of Macau present on July 7, 2014, Monday, at 18.30, at the Headquarters of Rui Cunha Foundation, Avenida da Praia Grande , n.749, R / C, Macau, the work “Viagem por Macau” in 4 Volumes.
Authored by Rogério Coelho and Cecilia Jorge Beltran, and a joint publication Books of the East and Cultural Institute, the work, revised and expanded the ” Viagem por Macau “, published in two volumes in 1997 and 1999, gathers references to to Macau from foreign travelers of the seventeenth to the twentieth centuries.
Alongside the launch which will be the responsibility of the authors themselves, the Vice-President of the Cultural Affairs Bureau, Dr. Jing Yao Ming, and historian Dr. Tereza Sena, a researcher at the Center for the Study of Cultures Sino-Western Polytechnic Institute Macau, also there at the end, a small space for conversation about the passage and the presence of non-Portuguese in Macau.
