The New Gaming Concessions: One Year On

The Rui Cunha Foundation presents today, Monday, January 15th at 6:30pm, a conference entitled “The New Gaming Concessions: One Year On”, inserted on the MBtv Business Series at FRC Gallery.

One year into the new gaming concessions, the city’s core industry has undergone a robust post-pandemic recovery. The Macau gaming industry has entered a new era marked by heightened supervision and a strong emphasis on the mass market, non-gaming, and diversification. What are the main takeaways and what comes next?

The inaugural edition of FRC / MBtv Debates in 2024 will feature a distinguished panel of experts to answer these questions and advise on the next challenges. Guest speakers are Davis Fong, Director of the Institute for the Study of Commercial Gaming at the Faculty of Business Administration of University of Macau; Rui Pinto Proença, Managing Partner of MdME; Niall Murray, Chairman of Murray International (Macau) Co. Ltd.; and José I. Duarte, Economist and Macau Business Magazine Senior Analyst.

The session will be moderated by the Director of Macau Business and Macau News Agency, José Carlos Matias.
