Chanutr Techatana-nan, known as Hong, is a standout figure in the Asian jazz scene, celebrated for his innovative drumming style that combines groovy swing with intricate polyrhythmic embellishments. He plays with renowned ensembles like The Asian All-Stars Power Quartet and the “Organamix” trio, contributing to their recognition on international stages. In addition to his performance accolades, Hong is a dedicated music educator, currently serving as a full-time instructor and Program Coordinator for Jazz Studies at Silpakorn University, Thailand.  With a career marked by collaboration with esteemed musicians and participation in prestigious festivals worldwide, Hong continues to influence the jazz landscape both as a performer and an educator. Hong will be collaborating with members of Macau Jazz Promotion Association with series of beloved jazz classics and originals.
