SP Singers to Shoot New MV “Paradise” in Pattaya

Invited by Rui Cunha Foundation to compose theme song
MV shooting both in Macau and Thailand
(Macao, 5 July 2016) -SP Entertainment singers Hyper Lo, AJ and Josie are invited by Rui Cunha Foundation to compose the theme song “Paradise”. This song is written by renowned Hong Kong musician Ronald Ng and Ka U, arranged and produced by Ronald, and with lyrics written by Hyper Lo. The launch of “Let’s Get It On” early this year was very well-received, and hopefully “Paradise” will be their next hit in August. The singersshot this new music video in Pattaya, Thailand, this past weekend, in the world’s first Cartoon Network themed water park – the Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark Thailand, with this venue being sponsored by the waterpark.
The trio has become increasingly popular in local associations and companies for theme song composing due to their positive and energetic image, early exemplar set by songs such as “Get Ready”, “Dream Catchers” and “Let’s Get It On”. The trio ismuch honored to receive the invitation from Rui Cunha Foundation as Dr. Cunha has always been a very important figure to local cultural development, who has also engaged in extensive charity and cultural works. The song and MV production is fully supported by the Foundation.
Dr. Cunha said, “Music is an expression of Joy…lyrics are the feelings and hopes! Joy and wishes get together with this young group from Macau and for a better and happier future for everyone around the world. Praise them for such positive vision and hope their message, joy and energy soon be contagious for a better future, full of peace and harmony.”
Lyricist Hyper Lo said the song name in Chinese “Lok I Mong Fan” is specially designed to resemble with Dr. Cunha’s Chinese name pronunciation as he is very dedicated in helping passionate dream catchers to fulfill their dreams by providing well-equipped infrastructure and assistance. The lyrics describe the dream catching process as an unforgettable journey. It aims to encourage the young generation to go for their dreams without hesitation. Hyper realized local singers and their works are receiving additional recognition by local associations and companies. “We are very glad to compose this theme song for Rui Cunha Foundation. A catchy theme song not only can strengthen people’s impression to the song itself, but also to the association or brand it is associated with. We believe “Paradise” can help Macao residents better understand the Foundation and bring out the founder’s missions and objectives.”
The MV is directed by Hong Kong renowned director Ching Long. His previous works featuring SP singers include Hyper Lo’s “I Do” and the trio’s “Let’s Get It On”. In order to visually stand out the joyful mood of the dream catching journey, Long decided to shoot within the Foundation office in Macao and Pattaya. One of the highlights of the MV is the part filmed within Cartoon Network AmazoneWaterpark Thailand, the world’s first cartoon network themed water park. The park has high appreciation to the singers and sponsors their venue for the shooting.
The singers will showcase a few fresh and energetic summer looks in the MV. Josie revealed that she had to be on diet for the past few weeks in order to keep a better shape forswim suits as she had traveled frequently the past few months. “It’s so hard to resist Thai cuisine and I feel so sad that I cannot eat until the filming has finished. I shouldn’t have eaten that much before!” AJ said it’s a very valuable opportunity to shoot MV outside of Macao and he is very thankful for all parties’ support to make it happen. “We will keep exploring and innovating our music in order to bring higher quality works to our fans and bring newer elements to the local music industry.”
SP singers Hyper Lo, AJ, Josie Ho and Cherry Ho had received Rui Cunha Foundation’s venue sponsorship for their album launch events in August 2015 and February this year, respectively. They were also invited to perform at the 4th anniversary gala dinner of the Foundation in April.
“Paradise” and its MV will release to mainstream radio stations in Hong Kong and Macao and various online music platforms in August.
