Macau-Hengqin and Hong Kong-Shenzhen integration

With the pandemic now behind us, regional integration in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area is set to be fast-paced. The joint development of the Guangdong-Macau In-depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin is expected to take centre stage with a set of incentives being adopted, and additional measures in the pipeline. In the neighboring region, the Qinghai Cooperation Zone is aimed at facilitating financial, logistics, and IT services activity between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. How far and how fast will regional integration go in the coming years?
