Funkschön, from Taiwan, was established in 2010, consists on elite singers from awarding groups with rich experience. The six of them with well appearance and voices join together and make some sparks. The lush sound with vivid rhythm and emotion becomes the maximum power of human voice. They will be performing also with a local jazz band to bring more surprises as their debut in Macau.This very group is led by Sylvia Lin, graduate of Berklee College of Music, who is the soprano as well as the composer and arranger. She has been writing and publishing acapella music. Lin had also found and been leading Semiscon, a well known acapella group across the shores nowadays, who is now one of the representatives of acapella scene in Taiwan. Other members including alto Angel Hu, tenor Chiyang Hsieh, baritone Simon Pan, bass Robin Wong and voice percussionist Jack Liu. This group of six gains it’s character with wide range of Chinese and Western as well as original works. MVA also invites the members to give a talk, in order to share their world.
